Hi, I have been working as a professional translator since 1995, translating and editing magazine articles, newsletters, web content, dissertations and programme guides. I am fully bilingual and passed the Dutch State Exam for Dutch-English Translation in 1996. Clients have ranged from magazine editors seeking translations of Dutch articles to businesses seeking English translations of their PR communications to PhD graduates seeking an editor for their thesis. I have translated the words of the Dalai Lama and Daphne Deckers, museum brochures and management guides, and edited theses on topics as diverse as biomedical research, television entertainment and Erasmus. You provide the source text and I'll provide a clear and engaging English translation; at times clearer than the Dutch original.
