Question from Natia Bakhtadze:

gueño

I would like to know the best translation of this phrase from Dominican Spanish into American English.

It's a translation of a phone conversation between two Dominican People living in The US. One of them is a child. The mother is feeding the child. Is this good in Dominican Spanish?

Here is the full sentence:

en mi amor, ven a. ah ahh ahh abre boquita ven comidita open your mouth ah ah come here open open ah ah uuhhh gueño (bueno) ( sounds like the spoon on the dish)

Could be "good boy/girl" or "well done".
